We’re currently inviting applications from a registered or clinical psychologist to join our team at In Positive Health, based in Canberra’s inner north. This opportunity has become available as one of our valued clinicians is relocating interstate at the end of 2025. Ideally, the new psychologist will begin in November 2025 or shortly thereafter, with the possibility of a warm handover if starting in November or early December.

The incoming psychologist will be stepping into an established caseload with a mix of approximately 60% paediatric and 40% adult clients. If you enjoy working with children and families, you’ll be well-positioned to take on clients quickly—but we also warmly welcome clinicians who prefer to work with adults, or a blend of both.

This role is ideal for someone who values the autonomy of running their own private practice, while also appreciating the connection, referrals, and collegial support of a like-minded team.

While we offer a steady flow of referrals and day-to-day support, this opportunity will best suit someone who is motivated to grow and sustain their own client base over time, within the framework of a warm, collaborative community.
