In Positive Health respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy is our means of demonstrating to you our firm commitment to privacy.

Within the scope of NSW law, we collect your personal data only with your knowledge or consent. This may be when you complete forms or when you email or call us. This may also include any audio or video recordings or photography made with your prior permission. This information is collected in order to provide the best service to you, via comprehensive assessments and/or treatment.

In Positive Health is committed to taking reasonable steps to keep secure any personal information retained in our files. This information may be stored in hard copy in a filing system or in a secure server.

We will never sell or rent your private information. Disclosure of personal information will only take place in accordance with the  Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including the Australian Privacy Principles. This means that it will only be disclosed if we have your consent, we are required by law to disclose it, or it is otherwise permitted under the Act. We also comply with the Speech Pathology Australia Code of Ethics or the APS Code of Ethics, depending on profession.

Our Service

If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us. We take complaints seriously and aim to resolve them quickly and fairly.

If you remain dissatisfied with our response, you may contact the Human Rights Commission (HRC). The HRC responds to complaints about health services and the handling of health information in the Australian Capital Territory. Their service is free, confidential and impartial.
