Sally Arthur

Psychologist

Sally has worked with individuals and groups in urban and rural settings across Australia. She is a Counselling Psychology Registrar (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). She has worked in consultancies, government agencies and private practice. Her career has taken her from being a project manager in cyber security, to a mental health researcher and a psychologist. She has experience working with organisations in the space of workplace mental health and employee wellbeing. Work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, rural communities and young people with mental health concerns has demonstrated to Sally the unrivalled power of inclusion and belonging in all settings.
 
Sally works with clients to manage stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, low self-worth, relationship difficulties and life transitions with experience in mild to moderate presentations. She employs evidenced based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing, with a compassionate person-centred approach to support clients in reaching their goals.
